Women United ART MOVEMENT, a global platform championing women in the arts, is excited to announce a new call for artists for the anniversary issue of its quarterly print and digital publication Women United ART MAGAZINE!

 

Artist in Residence Fellowship

IAS CEU offers annually one Writer in Residence fellowship and one Visual/New Media Artist in Residence fellowship to provide selected artists with opportunities to conceptualize and create new works. These two residential fellowships (up to 5 months each with a minimum stay of 3 months) are offered on a competitive basis to writers and visual artists, working in creative writing (such as poetry, prose, drama, screen and playwriting) and in various visual media, including film and digital applications.

Deadline for application for academic year 2024-2025 is 11:59 p.m. (CET) on 21 September, 2023.

Call for Art - Art Seen Magazine, Fall and Winter editions

Submit to the Autumn (Fall) and Winter editions of Art Seen Magazine. Preference for this round is mixed media, sculpture, painting, printmaking, drawing, fiber art and fine art photography. Art Seen Magazine is a bestselling international quarterly art publication, currently accepting submissions from visual artists in any location. All submissions are considered for interviews, features, Q&As and studio visits. The Fall issue will be published in August and the Winter edition in November 2023.

The AiR We Breathe residency in Chiang Mai

Studio 88 Artist Residency is calling for visual artists to apply for a special residency on the theme “The AiR We Breathe”, to be part of the Art for Air Festival 2023 in Chiangmai.

The 4-week programme in our residency space in Doi Saket, 30 minutes from the centre of ChiangMai, explores the topic of air quality. The residency, with a select group of international and Thai artists, is facilitated by locally based arts manager and Studio 88 founder Sasiwimon Wongjarin (Aom).

There will be a welcome dinner, two studio visits and a catered public event, which will be held as part of the Art for Air Festival 2023 in Chiangmai in June 2023. This is the second part of this special call.

Open Call R.A.R.O. Residency 2023

R.A.R.O. is an itinerant residency program that allows foreign and argentinian artists to develop their projects in the different studios that R.A.R.O.´s team offers around the city of Buenos Aires.

Each artist can work in a minimum of two studios for the period of the residency, deepening in one or more techniques, according to the project that they are going to develop.

We are also offering residency programs in Curatorial Projects, Theater and Performance and Ceramics and Pottery.

During their residency, artists may show their work, get in contact with local artists, curators and collectors among other art related enthusiasts. At the end of the residency, artists would have the opportunity to show their final work either as an Open studio or exhibition.

CALL FOR ARTISTS | Annual Publication ARTIST, MOTHER, PROUD & SERIOUS

Art Mums United, a global platform highlighting and supporting artist mothers and their practices, is thrilled to announce the call for artists for a new annual publication Artist, Mother, Proud & Serious!

 

We are looking for women-identifying caregivers who are visual or performing artists, regardless of age, education, career stage, sexual orientation, or race.

 

Volume 1 will be released in November 2023. Selected artists will be included in the digital and print versions of the publication. ALL ARTISTS who submit their work will receive a complimentary digital version of the publication. Print copies will be available for purchase through Amazon worldwide.
