Invisibility: Existing on the Periphery | Virtual Exhibition

Invisibility: Existing on the Periphery | Virtual Exhibition Dates: July 1–31, 2024
The theme, “Invisibility: Existing on the Periphery”, seeks to explore the experience of invisibility, a condition often imposed by societal norms and at times, embraced as a form of self-preservation. This call for art aims to explore the subject of invisibility as a state of being and as a social condition that affects various groups and individuals who are systematically overlooked – the homeless, migrants, the disabled, the elderly, certain racial and worker groups. ALL accepted works with statements will be viewable online.

Open Call: Women in Art Fair

Women in Art Fair invites submissions from women artists for its OPEN CALL, a curated gallery exhibition to be held at the inaugural Women in Art Fair at Mall Galleries, London this autumn.

Women in Art Fair is a new art fair dedicated to re-addressing the gender imbalance in the art industry. It seeks to create a positive global fair, at which women artists are given an opportunity to show their work and contribute to developing the exchange of ideas around gender and culture.

This October, Women in Art Fair will launch with its first edition, and is inviting submissions from women artists (including female-identifying artists) for its Open Call exhibition.

6th Midwest Open

This exhibition puts forth the vibrancy, diversity, and strong feminist voice right here in the Heartland.

International Open Call For Art

THEME

“PRIDE” is a call for a visual art exhibit designed to celebrate queer community in honor of International Pride Month. The exhibit is a precursor to Pride celebrations held in June. Artists are encouraged to present works that celebrate the unique sense of pride & celebrate diversity for the community. Artists are encouraged to submit meaningful works underscoring identity, love, sexuality, gender, lifestyle and diversification. Show us what your Pride means to you.

With this curated group exhibition “PRIDE” we are excited to document & share about several expressions in context to the celebration of diversification, gender & identity and so much more via the medium of visual arts.
