DL 20.7 - Working Precariously Zine

Hello!

I am working on a masters thesis investigating alternative ways of confronting precarious positions in the art, culture, and creative industries. I am looking at ways and methods art education can improve internships/traineeships, low paid labor in the art, cultural, and creative industries for both the people conducting the labor and the people receiving the labor (organizations).

Please note, this open call is searching for text and visual contributors who have experience in the Nordics (Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Iceland, as well as the Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland). E.g. have conducted work in the Nordics (you do not need to be from or currently based in the Nordics).

Call for Submissions - Muse Zine: SUNSOAK

Calling all muses! Submissions are open for our Summer zine: Sunsoak

For the second issue of Muse Zine, we’re taking inspiration from Summer as the season of ripening, blooming, illuminating. Slow days, golden hour, melting time. Letting the light in, letting it spill over. What parts of ourselves do we keep in the shadows, how can we grow towards the sun?

You’re invited to submit art, illustration, collage, poetry, photography and more. Submissions close 1st July!

Muse is a collaborative creative zine project and not for profit. Selected artists will be featured in both the print and digital versions of the magazine, and featured on our Instagram account (@the.muse.zine)
