TAAT was founded in 2012 by Breg Horemans and Gert-Jan Stam as a vehicle for their transdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration. The focus of the collective is on framing and/or facilitating 'learning and growing processes through installation work’.. Since 2015 TAAT operates as foundation (stichting) and refers to itself as a ‘liquid collective’, shape shifting with every project and location. TAAT’s activities meander between curating, teaching, artistic research, publishing and even facilitating residencies. Through all these activities TAAT is developing a ‘regenerative network of spatially oriented artists’.
