CONTRA/COMMON is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization that empowers emerging artists through community, collaboration, and creative exploration.
Contracommon creates platforms for artists to exhibit their work, produces events that connect individual artists to their community, and facilitates opportunities for professional development. Our facility in the Hill Country Galleria has a 1200 sq/foot gallery space and media room, 16 private artist studios, a community wood shop, an engraving press, a darkroom, coworking space, office amenities, laundry, and a kitchen.
