Kai Lab is a London-based design studio that creates interactive works with light, sound and motion. All with backgrounds in the physical sciences, its three founders place a heavy emphasis on R&D. The Lab’s own artistic work is often based off its studies of micro and macro natural phenomena. The new technologies created in house are used to power Kai’s own pieces as well as those of collaborators across a number of fields and industries.
Kai has exhibited its own and collaborative work at institutions such as The Saatchi Gallery (UK), The Verbeke Foundation (NLD), The London Science Museum (UK), MONA (AUS) and Somerset House (UK).
