La Macina di San Cresci is an open laboratory for artistic projects, a retreat, a place of contemplation and creativity. It was founded by two lifelong art lovers skilled in design and architecture, Duccio Trassinelli and Demetria Verduci. We believe in art and offer artists an opportunity to work in a social environment that diverges from the urban milieu that is the usual context of production and distribution of the contemporary arts. This new experience provides artists with a major stimulus to experiment with new ideas, approaches, and modes of production, encouraging artists to rethink and renegotiate their roles in such unfamiliar social contexts.
