ORTE Lower Austrian Architecture Network is a partner of the AIR program, providing a studio apartment in Krems and a stipend to selected architects, spatial planners, landscape architects, designers, theoreticians, curators, and artists with a focus on architecture. The program is financed by the Lower Austrian government, and scholarship recipients are chosen once a year by a jury. “Architects in Residence” stay for an average of two to three months. ORTE also provides a work presentation as part of the ORTE event program for some studio guests.
