Soaring Gardens Artist Retreat welcomes visual artists, writers, composers, and instrumentalists for three week residencies running mid-May through mid-September. Application season opens each February and is typically open for 1.5 months. Located in the Endless Mountains region of Northeast Pennsylvania, Soaring Gardens offers the charm of an 1850's farmhouse with an adjacent two-story studio building seated on 22 acres of mixed meadow and old growth forest. The farmhouse is surrounded by gardens planted in native and ornamental styles as well as a large permaculture garden for fruits, vegetables, and medicinal specimens.
