- About -

I have been practicing the art of photography for five years now. In capturing the city's streets, architecture, and people, I strive to show the beauty and psychology behind what we see as commonplace. Winning the Santa Fe Nikon Photographic Scholarship in 2016, and having my photograph published in The Huffington Post gave me the opportunity to pursue my photography studies even further. Before I dove into photography full-time, I worked as an ESL instructor and then spent three years working as a content coordinator for Ralph Appelbaum Associates, the largest museum design exhibition firm in the world. During this time I studied photography at The International Center of Photography in Midtown and served as a Teaching Assistant for various street photography and portraiture classes. Today, while practicing the art of photography, I freelance as a Data Entry Clerk for Andrea Rosen Gallery in Manhattan and teach private photography classes. My work can be viewed on my Instagram: soniagoydenko and my Website:
