Stephen is a UK -based award-winning playwright and director. He is also an AHRC funded PhD student researching playwriting from archives, National Playwright in Residence to LGBT History Month and Artistic Director of Inkbrew Productions. Plays include: • The Adhesion of Love (toured North West, 2019) Arts Council of England (ACE) funded; • The Burnley Buggers’ Ball (toured North West, 2017) ACE funded; • Die Diana winner of the 2016 Best Drama Award for the Greater Manchester Fringe; • A Very Victorian Scandal: The Trial (February 2015), ACE funded; Stephen has completed commissions for Islington Museum and Bolton Museum and a residency at the People’s History Museum.
