The Officers: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer & Assistant Treasurer are elected annually by the members. The gallery’s policy allows each member artist to assume an equal share of responsibilities in a collegial and professional environment.Located in Chelsea, New York City, PLEIADES GALLERY is one of the oldest and most successful artist run galleries in Manhattan.

nukhufest

nukhufest is a film festival where the winner is determined by the public. 

A celebration of artists, filmmaking, and creativitiy, nukhufest is an event that culminates around the announcement of the annual Best Nuvee winner. 

Deadlines:

  • Semi-Finalists are curated by the nukhu committee until September 17th. 
  • The Top 10 Finalists are curated by voting members through September 24th. 
  • The Top 10 Voted Finalist at 12 AM ET on October 1st becomes the 2022 Best Nuvee Winner!

Film Eligibility: 

1. Only films completed during or after 2021 and uploaded by September 17th will be eligible for nukhufest 2022. Any prior screenings will not affect eligibility.

Call for Entry/Open Call

NYC-based virtual gallery, launched in 2021, is currently accepting USA-based artist submissions for group and solo exhibitions. Accepting emerging and established artists working with mediums such as painting, printmaking, drawing, collage, and photography, among others.

SAC Artists & Scholar Photography Mixer Slide Jam

Submitted works will be displayed on a rotating slide with your name and contact information at the SAC Artists and Scholar mixer this year. Invited guest include photographers and scholars who are panellist speaking at the 2023 College of the Art Association Conference, held in New York. You will be a special guest invited to attend and engage, as your work is on display.

For this mixer, we seek photographic work that best illustrates your practice. All capture methods and processes are welcome.
