Commission artists needed for foam pumpkin-jack o’lantern illustrating and carving. Artists needed to illustrate images on foam pumpkins using provided art work on provided foam pumpkins.   Images can be transferred to the surface using a combination of techniques including charcoal rubbing, projector or free handing. 

Can work part time in our shop in Westchester county NY or at home.  Payment after successfully completed work.

Ceramics Studio Manager

The Canvas Art Studio and Gallery in Juneau, Alaska is seeking an experienced ceramicist to manage our ceramics studio and instruct beginning wheel and other ceramics arts classes.  This is a 3/4 time position with a lot of flexibility and room for growth.  We are seeking a self-motivated and creative artist who will have ideas for program development, willingness to work with community of all ages, and a passion for ceramics that they are willing to share with the community.  The ideal candidate will have a varied practice and a willingness to pursue their own art and participate in the local arts community.

Looking for Partner for Monthly Comic

I'm looking for an Artist for my new horror comic (think Tales of the Crypt).

I have the first three issues already written, I'm looking for submissions for both Cover Artists, and comic illustration artists.

Games: From Marbles to Minecraft

Highly regarded Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center, in association with the Smithsonian Institution, announces a call for artists for “Games: Marbles to Minecraft”, a national juried exhibition on display Oct 28 – Jan 16, 2017, at Annmarie’s award-winning Galleries.

This exhibit invites artists to submit works that are inspired by games and gaming culture. The jury seeks works that explore the role that the visual arts have played in the invention, development, design, production, packaging, and marketing of games.

Open to U.S. artists age 18 and older. All media welcome; small to large-scale installations; new media encouraged; indoor and outdoor works accepted; cash awards to be presented.

Horizon: Contemporary Landscape

The Community Arts Center’ annual juried exhibit will test the limits of what you think of when you hear the word landscape! While many artists portray classic landscape paintings, others delve into more abstract realms, submitting everything from collage and photography to mixed media and cast metal sculpture. We want to see where your imagination takes you as an artist.

ELIGIBILITY AND MEDIA
All artists using visual media are eligible to enter the Horizon exhibition. All media will be  considered with the exception of  live or performance art. All work must have been completed since January of 2012 and not previously shown in any  other Community Arts Center  exhibitions.

Intimacy with the Subject’ Photo Exhibition

Mount Dora Center for the Arts presents ‘Intimacy with the Subject’, a curated photographic exhibition, on display August 8, 2016 to September 23, 2016.

The visual narrative of the work submitted for review should evoke the feeling of intimacy and how you interpret intimacy. We are searching for images that go beyond the obvious to get at something deeper. Think beyond human subjects. Stretch your imagination.

ELIGIBILITY
Open to all artists at all levels. Explore any interpretations that apply to the the me “Intimacy with the Subject” All works in the exhibition must be for sale with an artist-gallery split of 65%-35% of the purchase price.
