Open Call for Time-Based Art & Films

Based in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the NOFLASH Video Show is dedicated to showcasing rigorous new work by emerging time-based artists and filmmakers, local and international. The third annual NOFLASH is now open for submissions in the following categories: hybrid/experimental short films, narrative/documentary short films, feature film, moving-image installation/video art, live performance art and sound art. Last year, 25 works were selected from around 750 submissions, ranging from undergraduate students to working artists in nine different countries. Submit by February 1  (free for students, $5 standard).

We're screening 8 nights of short film at cinemas across Edinburgh in 2019 

Presenting awards and trophies for the best films selected by our jury for  Best Film, & Best Animation & Best Scottish Short!

Magmart | video under volcano

Magmart | video under volcano is an international videoart festival, which over the years has seen the participation of more than 1400 artists from +80 different countries, with thousand submitted videos.
The Festival is open to all international videoartists. Partecipation is free.
Between all submitted video, will be done a final selection based on vote of a Jury composed by experts. 
Any author can participate with max 5 video.

SHESHOWS | a night of performance and film

SHESHOWS presents stories of bearing, endurance and strength by artists whose work identifies with the concept of endurance, bearing and power in relation to women and girls and the female experience.

Join us and the artists for a diverse and celebratory night of performance, screenings, interactions and sharing at Leyden Gallery.

OPEN CALL for New Short Film or Audio for ArtSwarm, theme: South America

ArtSwarm is a fortnightly video and audio art programme for YouTube featuring only new, original content created by artists.

We need new content to broadcast each episode and are calling for new video or audio pieces to play of any sort, from experimental works to animation, poetry, drama, music or soundscapes, or anything creative. The main criteria is that work must be new, not shared online or previously published, and available for free public broadcast. You can find terms and full details here:

Episodes have an optional theme. The theme for Episode 19 is South America, and the deadline is 12pm on Sunday December 2nd.

CALL FOR ART FILMS

Delete TV investigates the captivating nature of images with the specific aim to look up to new approaches by taking distance from the conventional film making method.

The program opens a window to the world of art and offers strong, wild and uncensored works from upcoming artists and film-makers. Delete TV highlights contemporary issues in a global context, highly educational and deeply focused on intercultural exchange and visibility.
