SELECTS 2024

SELECTS 2024, a juried exhibition to be held January 4-26, 2024, will offer selected artists the opportunity to show a display of representative works in an installation of their own design.  Each artists will have an exhibition area of approximately 10'H x 10'W of wall space.  Artists with free-standing 3D work will be given an equivalent amount of floor space.  The artists may, within reason, use their space in whatever manner they feel shows their work to its best advantage.  The artists' works will be shown in the gallery, shared on social media, and the show will be publicized in communications to the gallery's extensive contacts nationwide (which include critics, curators and collectors, other artists and gallery-goers interested in contemporary art).

We are now accepting submissions for our Virtual ‘Portrait Artist of the Year’ Award.

Any artist from any background can submit any of their work.

There is no charge to submit your application, please feel free to share your work with us.

[A small fee (£30) is applied per artist once they have been selected for the exhibition].

The team will review all applications and the selected works will be announced.

International Open Call: Royal Blue 2023

We invite Visual Artists, Painters, Sculptors, Photographers, Craftsmen, etc., to participate in our special Open Call: Royal Blue, which will culminate in: - Finalists Exhibition with awarding Certificates to all Finalists and honoring the Grand Prix winner and Featured Artists. - Solo exhibition of the Grand Prix winner. *Both exhibitions will occur at the Royal Blue Visual Arts Gallery and online. *For Photographers and Digital Artists, we offer Artwork printing and framing for the duration of the Exhibition. *** The contest’s theme is Royal Blue – the color from which the name of our Gallery comes, and Wikipedia defines it as a deep and vivid shade of blue.

They also have a strong visual impact and evoke energy and excitement. Remember that while bold and vibrant colors can be attention-grabbing and impactful, it’s essential to maintain visual harmony and balance. Pairing them with complementary or neutral tones can help create a visually pleasing composition.

ING Discerning Eye 2023 call for entries

The ING Discerning Eye announces its 2023 call for entries and star-studded selection panel.

The selectors are:

  • Singer and artist Ian “H” Watkins,
  • Former England footballer Tony Adams,
  • Artists Chris Levine and Julian Wild,
  • Curators Péjú Oshin and Eliza Gluckman.

Artists can take part in an exhibition at Mall Galleries, London, and win awards up to £5,000.

What work can you enter?

All styles and media are welcome – including painting, sculpture, drawing, photography, film, textile, and more.
