Glasgow Theatres (King's and Theatre Royal) are seeking a proactive Events Manager

Would you like the opportunity to join our Customer Experience Team as an Events Manager?

We are looking for an organised and proactive individual to attract and coordinate new functions, conferences and event opportunities for both the Theatre Royal and the King's Theatre, in Glasgow.

The successful candidate will also be a part of our Customer Experience Management team, overseeing the bar and front of house operation and leading our casual pool of staff on regular Duty Management shifts for our varied programme of performances in the main auditorium.

As part of the Customer Experience Management team, the Events Manager delivers a premium customer experience to all, handles all event enquiries (both internally and externally) and acts as the Event Duty Manager for all confirmed functions, conferences and events.

Some Key Responsibilities include:

- Attracting new clients and business opportunities for hiring our venues, looking at creative ways in which we can assure our venues are destinations for events in Glasgow.

- Overseeing and managing all aspects of functions, conferences and events, ensuring they are delivered in line with Company and Customer expectations.

- To help build and protect key relationships with Customers, Promoters, external suppliers and internal colleagues.
