IMG Artists seeks an Orchestral Booking Manager.  Established in 1984, IMG Artists (IMGA) is the global leader in the arts management business, with a roster including the finest in classical music, dance, special attractions and world music. This role will be based in the USA. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Working collaboratively with artist managers and their teams to promote IMGA’s roster of conductors and instrumentalists in North America.
  • Collecting relevant data and planning information from North American orchestras and other presenters, and securing engagements and negotiating fees for IMGA's roster of conductors and instrumentalists.
  • Preparing and creating orchestral sales and marketing materials.
  • Organizing, updating and maintaining IMGA’s mailing list, database and contact lists.
  • Managing the IMGA orchestra conference presence: registration, logistics, materials, sponsorship, hospitality, advertising and branding. 
  • Completing other administrative duties as required.

 

Skills/qualities required are:

  • Ability to juggle priorities and handle multiple deadlines in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment
  • Knowledge/experience in at least one area of IMGA’s core business, especially classical music, and interest in the entertainment industry
  • Professional phone manner and demeanor
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude, self-motivation and grace under pressure
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail sensitivity with exemplary speed and follow-through
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel and an openness to learning additional software packages as needed
  • Knowledge of performing arts markets, performance requirements and geography is a plus
  • An interest in learning more about the booking process and the desire to use the skills developed in this position to further your career with IMGA

At least three years of office experience and experience in a similar or related role are required.This is a full-time position with an excellent benefits package and a competitive salary.
