YummyColours LLC, is a boutique creative agency of designers, producers, and strategists whose sole mission is to create lasting experiences through design. We have very strong values around sustainability and human rights and we work actively to use our design skills for social good.

Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for a full-time project manager who shares our values to join our small and nimble team in New York City. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of relevant agency experience and will be responsible for staying on top of all projects (photoshoots, websites, etc) from beginning to end as well as managing the team and the studio.

Requirements include:

  • Organizational skills - being able to manage team, studio, and clients in a smooth, easy-going manner.
  • Communication skills - for this role communication is key! We love our clients and want them to feel loved and appreciated. You must be able to convey messages clearly and lovingly both in writing and in speech while managing deadlines, expectations, and costs.
  • You must know Asana, Google (inbox, sheets, docs, calendar, slides, etc). Knowledge of Mailchimp, Later and Adobe Cloud is a plus.
  • You must be timely and meet deadlines.
  • You must be a problem solver anticipating problems before they arise
  • An amazing attention to detail. You love to follow process, milestones and deadlines, create presentations, and find the right solutions.
  • You are comfortable multitasking. You can oversee and complete 4-8 projects at a time in collaboration with the rest of the team.
  • A passion for helping your team and maintaining an inclusive and positive work culture.
  • A proactive interest in learning the creative process as well as contributing suggestions on how we can improve our workflow.

Tasks include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing Asana, and Google calendar, creating tasks for everyone and making sure everyone is on top of what they need to do to stay on top of multiple deadlines.
  • Keep on top of communicating with the team, and clients throughout the day.
  • Creating project milestones and making sure they are communicated and met.
  • Getting quotes from necessary vendors and contractors and hiring as needed.
  • Creating SOWs, sending to clients and vendors, getting them signed, following through.
  • Making sure both vendors and YC are paid in a timely manner.
  • Making sure new projects gets on the website, Instagram, Linkedin, and our newsletter.
  • Making sure the studio has the materials needed to execute projects.
  • Researching for projects.
  • Working on project presentations.
  • Writing for projects and presentations as well as proofreading.
  • Taking notes during meetings, sending out recaps and next steps afterward.
  • Communicate project progress.
  • Making sure meetings are prepped.
  • General studio needs.
