WHISPERING WALLS

Open Call: Whispering Walls

Lumen Art Gallery invites artists from around the world to participate in Whispering Walls, our international online art competition dedicated to the silent stories, hidden memories, and symbolic traces carried by walls.

Walls can divide, protect, preserve, conceal, or reveal. They may hold the marks of time, history, solitude, intimacy, resistance, or transformation. For this open call, artists are invited to explore walls not only as physical structures, but also as metaphors for memory, identity, boundaries, silence, and emotional landscapes.

"Exposure • Photosynthesis" Global Healing Arts Contest and Exhibition

The sunlight is at its fiercest in the summer, and there is nowhere to hide.

This is an era that mirrors the season. We too live in an "inescapable exposure" — information overload, public judgment, anxiety laid bare under harsh light, and the growing tension between humanity and nature. We are watched, judged — like plants in summer, exposed under countless eyes.

But summer teaches us something else: plants never evade the sun. They open their leaves and turn the fiercest light into the most vigorous growth.

This is the wisdom of "photosynthesis" — not resistance, but transformation; not evasion, but acceptance; not being burned, but becoming oneself under exposure.

Reflections in Blue Art Competition

Megalopolitan Art Gallery invites artists worldwide to submit their work for the upcoming online art exhibition Reflections in Blue. We encourage creative and personal interpretations of the theme using subject matter, emotion, symbolism, or blue as the central element. The gallery seeks works that moves beyond the obvious, that finds blue in unexpected places, in tension with other ideas, or transformed through an artist’s singular perspective. All traditional and contemporary media are welcome, including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, and experimental practices. The call is open to all artists aged 18 and older, regardless of location, and both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply.

SECRET GARDENS

SECRET GARDENS – April Open Call

Dear Artists,

With Secret Gardens, we open a space for works that reveal what is often kept unseen—quiet places of thought, emotion, and imagination.

This theme invites you to reflect on hidden dimensions within your artistic practice: spaces of retreat, transformation, and subtle beauty. Whether rooted in nature, abstraction, or personal symbolism, each work becomes an invitation to step beyond the visible.

As always, participation is free, and selected artists will receive international visibility across our website, social media channels, YouTube, and newsletter.

We warmly invite you to be part of this exploration and share your unique vision with our global community.

Open Call: #What the Ball Are Your Doing? COME PLAY BALL WITH US

OPEN CALL | COME PLAY BALL

What the Ball are you doing?

A ball rises, falls, rolls away, comes back, gets caught, gets missed.

It can be a game, a rule, a pressure point, a delay, a score, a system, a ritual, a joke, a failure, a choreography, a way of wasting time, or a way time wastes us back.

This round of ELSEHERE Open Call invites artists to respond to the ball not only as object, but as structure, absurdity, repetition, control, drift, mischief, instability, and play.

We are not looking for one correct interpretation.

We are looking for works that can take this prompt somewhere alive, specific, and formally convincing.
