Peruvian Amazon Storytelling Workshop June 24th to July 04th 2020

For 10 days, 15 passionate writers, artists and filmmakers will be submerged in the density of the Peruvian Amazonas and the lives of the local Shawi. Guided by a diverse Team of acclaimed international creatives and Peruvian indigenous leaders, participants will be exposed to the raw nature of the rainforest, conflicting forces impacting indigenous communities and sustainable activities to address climate change.

C -IDEA DESIGN AWARD 2019

C -IDEA DESIGN AWARD 2019 is the non-profile international student competition, it will collect the student works from all around the world in different design categories. This year we join forces with TAIWAN CREATIVE STAR DESIGN AWARD, we are looking for young potential designers and creative design works.

Taiwan Creative Star Design Award is sponsored by the Taiwan Kaohsiung Advertising Design Association, it has successfully held eight sessions since 1997.

Girl Museum Contemporary Art Series - Call for Submissions

Girl Museum is seeking submissions of original artwork from female artists who explore girlhood and the experience of displacement - those who have had to redefine and re-examine identity in light of new environments. Whether it is missing the country in which you were born, a longing for new surroundings, or a desire to connect with a sense of ‘home’, we want to hear about your experience. 

We are particularly interested in how perceptions and expressions of the female experience, particularly girlhood, can differ depending on social norms and contexts, but any work under this broad umbrella is welcome.

Black and White Show

Grey Cube Gallery proudly presents the first Black & White Show for the month of February 2020. Contest is open to all artists worldwide over 18 years of age. Entries must include the black and white or shades of gray as the primary focus. All visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed. The Best of Show winning artwork will be displayed as the poster of the show. All wining artists ( Merit Award & Honorable Mention) will receive a digital award certificate. The application fee is $16 for the 2 images of artwork. You may enter more than once. The deadline to submit entries is the  March 05 2020.

All About Photo Awards 2020 - The Mind's Eye

Our 5th edition of the All About Photo Awards invites photographers from around the world to submit their best work for consideration. In reference to Henri Cartier-Bresson's photo essay, The Mind's Eye investigates the depth and thoughts behind each image.

Winners will receive $10,000 in cash awards, extensive press coverage and global recognition.
The grand prize is $5,000, the 2nd prize is $2,000, the 3rd prize is $1,500, the 4th prize is $1,000 and the 5th prize is $500!

Conscious | Art Call

Murze is looking for artists creating artwork exploring our consciousness; the mind - mental health, and mental health activism or artwork created by artists living with mental health issues.

 

Murze Issue Eleven will be looking at artists responses and experiences with mental health and wellbeing - we are looking for artists and creatives to help start a conversation on our personal experiences with mental health, and the wider societal issues associated.

 

This artist's call is open to painting, collage, drawing, sculpture and creative writing. To enter please send in a portfolio of up to six images and tell us a little about your experience with mental health, or your reasoning for tackling it in your artwork.
