Artists are invited to submit works for the Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize 2019

Now open for entries, the Lynn Painter-Stainers Prize welcomes outstanding creative examples of representational painting from both amateur and professional artists in the UK. Created in 2005 by The Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers and The Lynn Foundation, the open competition continues to champion the skill of draughtsmanship and figurative painting. The exhibition aims to reflect the breadth of approaches and materials from across the artistic spectrum.

“JAPAN TIDE” is a cultural exchange project between the United Kingdom and Japan. This project offers an access to Japanese cultural experiences through the presentation of Japanese arts, traditional culture, and cuisine during several events this year. The goal of this project is to motivate the public to visit Japan and many of its beautiful places after seeing JAPAN TIDE’ s introductions to traditional
cultures and cuisines of these regions.

ArtMaze Magazine is pleased to announce an open call for the Special Anniversary Edition 10!

Art Maze Magazine is an independent artist-run and ad-free international print and online publication dedicated to showcasing and promoting experimental and progressive contemporary art, which reflects modern society and its environment, provokes conversation and action; fosters innovation and diversity of mediums which make today’s art scene so intriguing and versatile.

ELIGIBILITY: Artists are welcome to submit works in any medium: painting, drawing, sculpture, ceramics, printmaking, photography, textile, installation, mixed media, digital, film etc. All visual art mediums are welcome.

Call for Zines for (In)visible Exhibition & Permanent Library

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS to arrive for inclusion in (In)visible exhibition is 4 OCTOBER 2018 (please bear this in mind when posting).

Taking place between 9 – 14 October to coincide with World Mental Health Day on 10 October, (In)visible will feature a group of artists who have used their work as self-expression, communication and therapeutic release. With themes often thought of as taboo such as mental illness, abuse, and domestic violence, this exhibition promotes honesty and non-censorship. We aim to create a visually stimulating, thought-provoking and engaging event that ignites discussion, tackles stigmas and unites artist and audience.
