We Share One Sky

"We Share One Sky" is Newburyport Art's theme for the 2024 calendar year, building off of the successful 2023 launch of the NBPT Murals Project. Last year, the project saw the completion of five exterior murals for our neighborhood and continues into its second phase this Spring. The exhibition We Share One Sky is a special opportunity to connect our entire artist community to the project and the theme! Artists may explore any design, subject, or narrative that ties in any way, shape, or form to the words "we share one sky".

Call for Art: Journeying Well-Artistic Pathways

Newburyport Art is seeking artworks that showcase Artistic Pathways: we are seeking works that interpret this theme to uncover ideas about the creative process. We want to see your perspective and to understand your unique artistic journey. Show us what inspires and motivates you as an artist! What are your challenges? How have you overcome them? How has the path of your work as an artist taken shape? We anticipate literal, metaphorical, abstract responses and more! All perspectives, media, genres, and disciplines are welcome: representational work, abstract work, sculptures, small artisan pieces and everything in between...we have a place for it all in this show.
