"Riding Through History" Juried Exhibition

The City of Santa Clarita (City) is inviting artists to submit artwork for consideration for our upcoming “Riding Through History” juried exhibition, which will be on view at the Newhall Community Center. We are seeking original artwork in any medium that celebrates Santa Clarita’s rich cowboy heritage. Artwork should resonate with the spirit of the cowboy era, blending the traditional theme with modern artistic expressions.

Deadline to Apply: February 18, 2024
Exhibition Dates: March 26 - June 19, 2024
Artwork Drop-off: March 26, 2024, 10:30-11:00am
Artwork Pick-up: June 19, 2024, 10:00-10:30am

The City of Santa Clarita (City) is inviting artists to submit artwork for consideration for our upcoming “Beauty of Stillness” juried exhibition which will be on view at the Old Town Newhall Library. We are seeking original artwork in any medium that explores the depths of tranquility, calm, and the silent power that resides in stillness. We are searching for works that encapsulate moments of pause, reflection, and serenity, offering viewers a journey into the spaces between motions.

We are seeking original artwork in any medium that delves deep into the theme of challenging and redefining societal norms and perceptions. Please submit artwork that tell powerful stories of transcending established paradigms, pieces that provoke thought, challenge the status quo, and engage viewers to see beyond their traditional perspectives.
