PhotoSummer - Conjured Futures projection

CONJURED FUTURES

Call for Entry open: April 19 – May 25, 2018
When: Friday, June 8 and Saturday, June 9
Where: The Santa Fe Railyard, near the Second Street Brewery

In conjunction with the Interplanetary Festival

Conjured Futures is a juried projection featuring photographic images that address or question new technologies, policies, and movements that are shaping the future of humanity. In this curation, we focus on projects that look at solutions or alternate outcomes. So often in western society do we see an emphasis that is put on destruction and problems, without considering what can be done to remediate damage.

We Are the Seeds Santa Fe 2018

We Are the Seeds Santa Fe is a beautiful 2-day event at the Santa Fe Railyard.  It will feature juried high-quality contemporary and traditional indigenous art and a festive celebration that includes music, dance, fashion, literary, and culinary art. The event will host 100+ artists representing a diversity of cultures and regions. In addition, Seeds Santa Fe will highlight and honor a group of indigenous women artists. Each featured artist will share their art by demonstrating their techniques for visitors. The Seeds Stage includes music dance, and spoken word. Seeds Santa Fe will also feature a youth art workshop, a youth music workshop, and a poetry workshop for indigenous women.

Celebrate Photography Contest

The most significant moments of our lives—the ones that bring us the greatest joy — are marked by celebration.

Whether it’s a public holiday or a private victory, a national triumph or an individual milestone, there are as many ways to celebrate as there are reasons to rejoice.

This holiday season, share with us the moments you’ve captured. Big or small, show us what you choose to celebrate and why.

Prizes

Entrants have the opportunity to win one Grand Prize, one First Prize, one Second Prize, one Third Prize, or one of 26 Honorable Mentions.

1) Grand Prize: Workshop of your choice in Santa Fe (tuition and fees; does not include lodging or airfare)
