CENTER'S 2019 Calls for Entry - Project Development Grant

//  THE PROJECT DEVELOPMENT GRANT

The Project Development Grant offers financial support to fine art, documentary, or photojournalist works-in-progress. The grant includes a cash award to help complete a project as well as platforms for feedback and professional development opportunities for the work’s final stages. This grant is awarded to projects that are still in progress and have not been exhibited or published.

 

-Entry Fee: $35 members - $45 nonmembers *each portfolio

-$5,000, Review Santa Fe ++

The Project Launch is granted to an outstanding photographer working on a fine art series or documentary project. The grant includes a cash award to help complete or disseminate the works, as well as providing a platform for exposure and professional development opportunities.This grant is awarded to complete or nearly completed projects that would benefit from the grant award package.

 

-Entry Fee: $35 members - $45 nonmembers *each portfolio

CENTER'S 2019 Calls for Entry - Review Santa Fe Photo Festival

//  REVIEW SANTA FE PHOTO FESTIVAL

CENTER’s premier juried portfolio review event, the Review Santa Fe Photo Festival, is a weekend conference and festival for photographers who have created a project or series that are seeking audience expansion, critical discussion and community gathering in a profoundly unique sense of place. Join us in the foothills of the Sangre de Cristo mountains for several special programs including artist talks, pop-up exhibits, a print raffle, and a closing dinner celebration.

 

-Entry Fee: $45 members - $55 nonmembers

-Juried portfolio reviews October 17–20, 2019

-Full scholarships available.

Conjured Futures is a juried projection featuring photographic images that address or question new technologies, policies, and movements that are shaping the future of humanity. In this curation, we focus on projects that look at solutions or alternate outcomes. So often in western society do we see an emphasis that is put on destruction and problems, without considering what can be done to remediate damage.

We Are the Seeds Santa Fe 2018

We Are the Seeds Santa Fe is a beautiful 2-day event at the Santa Fe Railyard.  It will feature juried high-quality contemporary and traditional indigenous art and a festive celebration that includes music, dance, fashion, literary, and culinary art. The event will host 100+ artists representing a diversity of cultures and regions. In addition, Seeds Santa Fe will highlight and honor a group of indigenous women artists. Each featured artist will share their art by demonstrating their techniques for visitors. The Seeds Stage includes music dance, and spoken word. Seeds Santa Fe will also feature a youth art workshop, a youth music workshop, and a poetry workshop for indigenous women.
