Exhibition Open Call: Tampa Colors in Abstract

RevArt invites 2D artists to submit work for Heatwave: Tampa Colors in Abstract, an upcoming Fall/Winter 2025 exhibition celebrating Tampa’s vibrant spirit through bold, expressive abstraction. We’re looking for works that channel the city’s warmth, energy, and distinctive color palette—from fiery sunsets and sparkling waterfronts to its lively cultural heartbeat.

Selected works will be featured in a high-visibility exhibition, offering artists the chance to connect with new audiences and collectors in one of Florida’s most dynamic art scenes. In addition, selected pieces may also be purchased by the exhibition’s venue sponsor.

International Photography Competition 2022

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is currently accepting entries for our 2022 International Photography Competition. This is an annual international competition where photographers of all ages and skill levels are invited to submit their work for the chance to win a $1,000 first-place cash prize. Selected entries will also be exhibited in our museum in downtown Tampa, Florida.

The Florida Museum of Photographic Arts is a museum dedicated to exhibiting important photographic art as central to contemporary life and culture. FMoPA collects, preserves, and exhibits historic and contemporary works by nationally and internationally known photographers. The museum also enriches the community by operating outreach programs to educate children and adults.

Nude Nite - Tampa

Celebrating its 15th year, Nude Nite is a body-themed immersive pop-up art experience. Nude Nite was created 15 years ago because galleries wouldn't and still won't show nude art.  Join this talked-about art party, held in a 20,000 SFT warehouse with over 200 of the best nude artworks for sale from artists around the country. Experience burlesque stage shows, world class body painting, interactive installations, performance artists, acrobats, stilt walkers, aerialists and a cast of painted characters creating a stunning canvas for your Insta-worthy photos. Nude Nite is a multi-sensory art encounter attended by thousands.

International Photography Contest

Photographers from all over the world are invited to submit their work. All styles and levels of experience are welcome. Winners will be selected by a jury and announced on May 4. The winning selections will be printed and framed by FMoPA and exhibited in the Community Gallery from June 1-July 23. There will be a formal opening reception from 5-7 p.m. June 28 at the museum.
