REIMAGINING TILBURY CARNIVAL

Sat 17th February, 10am - 5pm

Come and help us animate the story of Tilbury life at this exciting drama and storytelling workshop at Tilbury Cruise Terminal, led by Ali Pretty from Kinetika and Bernadette Wakeling of the Complete Commedia Company.

There will also be a free tour of the historic cruise terminal building followed by a bus tour of the Port at 11.30am.

Suitable for all ages, children under 14 should be accompanied by an adult.

THE DEADLINE FOR THE WORLD ILLUSTRATION AWARDS 2018 HAS BEEN EXTENDED UNTIL 20 FEBRUARY 2018!

Professional and New Talent illustrators (current students or recent graduates) are invited to submit work in any media or context to the World Illustration Awards into any of the eight categories: Advertising, Books, Children’s Books, Design, Editorial, Experimental, Research or Site Specific.

Each category will be judged by a panel of international experts, drawn from some of the world’s best commissioners of illustration including: WeTransfer, Twitter, Laurence King, Penguin Books, Human After All, VCCP and POWWOW!.

Average Art is an industry focused art magazine. Our goal is to draw attention to self representing artists. We are now taking entries for the April edition of Average Art Magazine.

Sunday Supplement: East Midlands in Focus - call out for Artists

Dance4 recognises the need for opportunities for artists to help shape work in the early stages of research and production.

We are seeking three East Midlands based artists, companies or collectives to present ideas from early stages of choreographic work. This could take the form of movement, text or conversation and we welcome artists from across different disciplines to apply. You will have approximately 15 minutes to present, followed by 10 minutes of discussion with the audience.

This opportunity includes one free day of studio space at iC4C, additional support fom our producers, and programmed as part of our Sunday Supplement: East Midlans in Focus.
