Art Installation/Artist Residency True False Film Fest

This is a call for visual artists to apply for a four week virtual artist residency, resulting in four art installations which will transform the outdoor footprint in the city of Columbia MO, USA in a celebration of film, music, and art for True/False Film Fest 2026.

We are looking for emerging and mid-career artists and encourage applications from artists who may identify as underrepresented in the traditional art world (BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, disabled, and parents/caregivers).

“Through the Eyes of a Child” presents works that explore themes of childlike wonder, curiosity, and unfiltered imagination. Drawing from memory, fantasy, and visual storytelling, this exhibition creates a space to consider innocence as both sanctuary and refuge in an ever-changing world. It invites viewers to reminisce,reflect, and reconnect with memories and experiences that may have faded overtime.

Pustnik Screenwriters Residency: Call for Submissions

The call for applications for the 11th edition of Pustnik International Screenwriting Residency, which will take place between 9–16 September 2025 at a remote location in Romania, is now open. The deadline for submission of applications is April 19. 

The Pustnik Screenwriters Residency is a retreat for filmmakers who are working on their first feature films. Besides dedicated writing time, participants will have the opportunity to meet script consultants and established producers who can provide feedback on their projects. Residents and guests also take part in common working sessions and screenings of their own work. We encourage them to offer each other feedback and nurture a generous spirit of support.

Gallery B612 seeks to lift up and recognize LGBTQIA+ artists in this exhibition celebrating Pride Month.

We would love to include artworks that depict families, personal stories of hope and resilience, and depictions of personal experiences (either abstract or representational) of LGBTQIA+  artists.

We especially encourage artists with intersectional identities to apply.

2026 Embracing Our Differences International Art Exhibition

Embracing Our Differences invites artists worldwide to submit their unique perspectives for our juried outdoor exhibition. Featuring 50 powerful, billboard-sized images, this showcase explores the theme of “embracing our differences through thought-provoking art.

Selected works will be displayed across Sarasota and Pinellas counties, Florida, from mid-January to mid-April 2026, inspiring dialogue among thousands of visitors.

This call is open to all—professional and amateur artists of all ages. Don't just create art; create impact.

15th Annual “Seascapes” Online Art Competition

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces the 15th Annual “Seascapes” Online Art Competition. 

The gallery invites both 2D and 3D artists (including photography & digital art), regardless of where they reside, to apply to this competition by submitting their best representational or abstract art. The “Seascapes” theme is the artist’s interpretation and depiction of seascape art.  Seascape subjects would include scenes of coastal living, any ocean activities, seaside vistas and any related seashore subjects.

Best in Show winner will receive a cash prize. Winners receive extensive worldwide publicity and promotion.

Entry Fees: $18.00 for 1 to 2 entries / $26.00 for 3 to 5 entries. Early entry and art student discounts.
