5th Annual “Nature” Art Exhibition Now Online Ready to View

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that the August 2015 Nature Art Exhibition is now posted on their website and ready to be viewed online. The “Nature” theme for this competition was considered to be art with the subjects of natural objects, wildlife, geographical or natural environments.  The gallery accepted art that was either representational or abstract.

The “Figurative” theme was considered to be figures, forms and faces. The gallery accepted art on this subject that was either representational or abstract.

The Visionary Photomontages of Herbert Bayer, 1929-1936

The Visionary Photomontages of Herbert Bayer, 1929–1936, a selection of 12 photographs by Bauhaus artist Herbert Bayer (1900–1985), are exhibited in tandem with the international loan exhibition The Paintings of Moholy-Nagy: The Shape of Things to Come.

Vargas Gallery is proud to present a selection of works from the university’s permanent collection for its next exhibition. “The Vargas collection represents years of eclectic acquisition and will present gallery goers an array of works in a variety of media by a broad selection of highly skilled artists,” said Henry Ballate Art & Design Programs Coordinator, who together with Annie Saldaña has curate this exhibition. The show serves as an introduction to a diverse collection that is rarely exhibited together.
