Artist Feature Interview Article

Open Call for Artists!

We’re excited to announce our first-ever art competition. The theme for this open call is ‘The Future of Art’ -

We encourage all artists to submit their best work that celebrates and experiments with the idea of the future.

Our curatorial panel will select three artists for a feature interview and article shared on our publication and channels. Winners will also get a featured spot for their artwork for our platform’s launch.

These features will be a special pre-launch initiative, opening up the question of the future of art. Our platform is the first social network and digital marketplace - empowering creatives to reinvent the future.

Artist Interview

Insights of an Eco Artist is an international art  publication that features selected artists and writers from around the globe with a high focus on contemporary art and those tackling issues of social and ecological justice.

Insights of an Eco Artist Interviews is a way for artists to articulate their vision and promote their work  through a web published art dialogue.

The artists are interviewed by the founder & artist Joana Alarcão to highlight their artistic career and explore how artistic interventions play a crucial role in bringing conversation forward about social political atmospheres and climate issues.

WORTH MORE / WORTH LESS

For our upcoming group exhibition, K.L.8 is looking for visual artists whose work actively reflects on the concept of ‘value’ in art. In what sense can you say that an artwork possesses worth? And does this need to be limited to monetary and material value, or can art have other kinds of value, such as social value, spiritual value, emotional value, ...?
