International Art Competition Botanicals

Contemporary Art Room Gallery is proud to announce their 3rd "Botanicals" Online Art Competition for the month of July 2021. This is an international competition and artists from around the world are welcome to submit their work. The Botanicals theme may include any work with interpretation of botanical and floral art (flowers, herbs, fruit, leaves, plants and related floral subcjects). All visual art mediums are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, prints, fiber art, collage or installation art) except sound and video art. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. First, second and third place will be largely displayed with an article about the artist and their work. First place will be on the poster of the show.

What we are looking for; 

Trinity Art Gallery is looking for new, London based artists to showcase at our two galleries this summer. 

 

About Trinity Art Gallery; 

Our galleries are situated at Leamouth Peninsula in East London approximately one mile East of Canary Wharf.  We have two established exhibition sites; London City Island and Good Luck Hope. 

We are an artist led gallery that strives to showcase quality works and exhibitions predominantly from London based artists.  We also have art studio spaces equipped with a Sculpture Workshop and large Paint Studio at nearby Trinity Buoy Wharf.   

We are seeking new painters, sculptors and other artisans to present via our galleries.

GLUE - New Curator Platform

 

Folkestone Fringe announces the launch of a new curatorial platform, GLUE. Created in response to a year of cancelled degree shows, inaccessible studios and cuts to staff and budgets. GLUE tackles reports of dwindling opportunities for art students and facilitates exhibitions alongside the international Creative Folkestone Triennial.

GLUE launches with an open call running from 1st June - 1st July 2021. The open call welcomes submissions from artists, curators or collectives who are final year students, recent graduates and postgraduate students from UK art schools or alternative programmes.

The ING Discerning Eye Exhibition is launching its 2021 edition – now calling for entries and preparing to return to the Mall Galleries in London this Autumn. 

The open exhibition gives artists the opportunity to show their work in central London and win a range of prizes, including the ING Purchase Prize worth £5,000, as well as specific medium and regional awards, totalling £12,000.
