Company Dancers and Trainees

Olympic Ballet Theatre is currently seeking female and male dancers for its 2021-2022 performance season. Positions are open for Company Dancers and Trainees; Trainees must be age 18+ or a high school graduate. Contract is for 20 weeks employment. Please submit headshot, photo in arabesque, resume, and class or performance video footage no later than April 30, 2021. Must have United States work authorization.

• Please prepare 2-3 minutes of energetic fitness exercises, ideally in our Physique 57 style, that showcase your knowledge of anatomy, musicality, command, energy, and personality!

Seeking Contemporary Dancers

VashtiDance Theater seeks well trained contemporary dancers for its season of performances ( including concerts, event performances, and educational performances in New York and nationally). Ideal candidates will have good fundamental training in ballet and modern and experience with other genres including, West African, Hi-Hop, or other styles of dance. The ideal dancer will also be open-mnded, a team player, committed to the contracted season. Performances are paid and there is a monthly travel stipend. Rehearsals are twice weekly (generally-exclusing some holidays).

OPEN CALL TO DANCERS: [INSERT FEELING HERE] immersive art experience

We are looking for dancers (modern) to collaborate with us on a unique immersive art exhibition for two nights only on 26 & 27 February in the Old Biscuit Factory in Bermondsey. The performance is a conversation between the paintbrush of the artist and the movement of the body of the dancer to the music. Art, dance and music become entangled guided by the flow of the creation process.
