Permanent – Full Time

We are seeking 2 part-time School Production Managers to fill a 1.0 FTE role as a job share whereby flexibility around job share FTE will be considered.  The School Production Managers will work in Central’s Technical & Production Department. Central offers higher education and training in a range of specialisms: performance (acting, voice, movement); creative, design and production (theatre practice); and applied theatre.

The role is to provide support for students and others in the mounting of the School’s public facing performance work. These productions take place both within our Swiss Cottage campus and at other venues across the UK. A wide range of Visiting Professionals, such as Directors, Designers and other creative and technical roles also work on our season.

On productions, you will be the primary decision maker in the space and will need to be able to communicate decisions clearly to everyone involved in the production, including students, staff and Visiting Professionals

Applicants must have a proven professional profile within the industry, with experience in a wide range of productions in differing venues and scales of production.

We have a flexible approach to filling these roles so applications from a variety of sources including individuals and companies are equally welcome.

We especially welcome people to apply from backgrounds historically underrepresented in the drama Conservatoire and Higher Education sector, and who are committed to building and sustaining a diverse, inclusive and equitable environment and industry.

We are committed to diversity and inclusion and welcome applications from all individuals regardless of personal characteristics or background. We particularly welcome applications from people with disabilities, LGBT+, BAME (Black, Asian, Minority and Ethnic) backgrounds as they are currently underrepresented within the sector and within Central.
