6th Annual “Patterns, Textures & Forms” Online Art Competition

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 6th Annual “Patterns, Textures & Forms” Online Juried Art Competition for the month of September 2022.  The gallery invites all 2D and 3D artists (including photography and digital arts) from around the world to make online submissions for possible inclusion in the Gallery’s October 2022 online group art exhibition.   

The gallery encourages entries from artists (including photography & digital arts) regardless of where they reside to apply to this competition by submitting their best interpretation of the “Patterns, Textures & Forms” theme. Artists are invited to submit their best representational and/or abstract art.

Utah Public Art - UofU Applied Sciences Facility

The Utah Public Art Program of the Division of Arts and Museums, in association with the Division of Facilities and Construction Management and the University of Utah is seeking artists interested in creating site specific art installation for the new Applied Sciences Facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Artists from Utah are encouraged to submit letters of interest and qualifications for the creation of public artwork for the new Applied Sciences Facility at the University of Utah. This project is also open to any resident US artist. 

Budget: $165,000, deadline September 7, 2022

We are thrilled to announce the call for entries for Create! Magazine’s Sixth Anniversary Print Edition 2022, issue #35.

 

Originally founded in 2013 as Fresh Paint Magazine, the publication rebranded to Create! Magazine in 2016 in order to showcase the incredible talent of emerging artists in the contemporary arts working across a variety of media. Since then, we’ve highlighted thousands of artists from across the globe, sharing not only what they create, but also the meaning, inspiration, and stories behind what they do.

COMPOSITIONS

We are now accepting submissions for our Virtual Exhibition ‘COMPOSITIONS.

Artists from all countries are welcome to submit their works for consideration. You are welcome to submit works in any medium. (painting, photography, printmaking, video art, installation, films, sculpting, mixed media, poems, illustration, etc). The theme of the exhibition is OPEN.

Any artist from any background can submit any of their work. There is no charge to submit your application, please feel free to share your work with us. A small fee (£55) is applied per artist once they have been selected for the exhibition.

Colors Art Competition

We are pleased to announce our 1st Colors online Art Competition for the month of September 2022. An artwork with one color or a multitude of colors can be submitted for this open subject competition. Various interpretations of Colors theme are welcome (representative, abstract, conceptual). All forms of visual art are acceptable (painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, digital, fiber art, collage, and installation), except sound and video art. In addition to the selected artists, the jury will select award winners in the following art categories: painting, photography, sculpture. All selected artists will receive a digital award certificate. An article about each artist will be displayed alongside the best of show and three winners.
