We are not looking for literal or direct references to nature, this said we are open to anything provided it matches the general aesthetic of the space. *We are not seeking: political artworks, portraits, or digital media *

There is a preference for available existing original artworks, however, we are willing to accept commissions of new artworks provided the agent/curator manages that component of the project and all costs associated are within the budget outlined. OPEN CALL 2021 - POLDRA - Public Sculpture Project Viseu

POLDRA – Public Sculpture Project Viseu promotes site-specific contemporary public art/art in Public Space. POLDRA seeks works that propose new interpretations of the sites and spaces as well as encourage interaction between the viewer and the sites themselves. Through this dynamic, the works of art aspire to initiate connections that exist beyond the primary act of looking.

We've been doing so for the past three years by exhibiting the works of Kiluanji Kia Henda (AO), Rui Sanches (PT), Miguel Palma (PT), Cristina Ataíde (PT), Neeraj Bhatia (CA), Pedro Pires (AO), Steven Barich (US), Elisa Balmaceda (CL), Kaitlin Ferguson (GB) & Natalia Bezerra (US), Liliana Velho (PT), Jazmin Charalambous (GB), e Signe Ferguson (US) & Thanasis Ilonomou (GR-CA).

The Museum of Early Trades & Crafts (METC) is inviting New Jersey artists to submit artwork for an exhibition held in the METC Education Annex in October 2021. Artists are invited to create original fine artwork on canvas material that will be provided. Each banner will be a one-of-a-kind work of art using any medium of the artist’s choice reflecting the theme of “Hope.”

The canvas banners are 24’ x 36’ and will be on display in the Museum’s Education Annex windows for a period of three months starting on October 27, 2021 and ending February 28, 2022. At the end of the exhibition, METC will host a reception where the banners will be sold and/or auctioned. The sales/auction price will be divided between the artist (60%) METC (40%).

Diversia: Earth - International Group Exhibition

Exhibizone proudly presents its 11th group exhibition opportunity, "Diversia: Earth".

As Carl Sagan, the visionary scientist, beautifully said: "The pale blue dot", the only home we've ever known, is the only place to everyone we love, everyone we know, everyone we ever heard of, every human being who ever was, and lived out their lives.

April 22 marks World Earth Day, and we invite you to submit artworks that present your artistic expression of the "Earth".

Unprecedented

For centuries Artists have been the scribes of humanity, expressing what is happening both in the world around them and in their unique inner landscapes. 2020 was an unprecedented year worldwide marked by a pandemic, as well as cultural, political and racial divisions. 2020 may possibly be seen as paradigm shift going forward. How is our rapidly changing world shaping the art you create? Please submit current work that expresses your experience of this extraordinary time.

Calling artists in all mediums to submit images and works responding to these “Unprecedented” times. (No entries larger than 48″x48″ or heavier than 50 lbs., please). The show will be juried by Melinda Cootsona.
