Call for Submissions, Winter Issue of Divergents Magazine (All Visual art is welcome for this call)To get through this long, pandemic winter, Divergents Magazine wants to hear your experience of love. How do you lavish attention on your partner when you’re ADHD? How do you meet someone in a culture obsessed with non-verbal social-cues? How do you write a love letter when writing gives you anxiety? We want to hear any and all ways in which your interactions with the neurotypical world colors this most human of experiences. Send us your essays, fiction, art, and poems reflecting on the navigation of romantic relationships.The deadline is Valentine’s Day—February 14, 2021. We’d love to hear from you.

2021 Women in Art

The show is dedicated to the spirit and creativity of all women artists, past and present. Las Laguna Gallery in Laguna Beach, California is looking for some incredible women artists. This exhibition is open to local, national and international women artists working in all mediums.

All artists who submit to this show will be accepted and have at least one of their submitted works posted on the Las Laguna Gallery website. A select number of artists will send their work into the gallery for the in person exhibition at our brick and mortar gallery located in Laguna Beach, CA.

Our project “Group Global 3000” is an embodiment his concept of the “social sculpture”. With the art we exhibit, its worldwide appeal, our togetherness and our ecological and economic practice, we want to stimulate the discourse for a sustainable world.

Artist Open Call - New Portraits from England`s History

English Heritage is commissioning an England-based artist who defines themselves as either of the African diaspora, Black, African, African-Caribbean, Afro-Latinx, African-American or mixed heritage, to create a portrait celebrating the life of a person of the African diaspora whose story has contributed to England’s rich history.

This portrait of a male leader of African descent, whose name will be provided by English Heritage to the commissioned artist, will be hung at an English Heritage site in the North of England. English Heritage particularly welcomes applications from artists based in the North of England for this opportunity.

Nature Art Contest

Grey Cube Gallery proudly presents the second Nature online art contest for the month of February 2021. Open to all artists worldwide over 18 years of age. We call artists and photographers to submit their best artworks related to the world of nature (flora and fauna, landscapes, seascapes, skies, etc). All visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed. The Best of Show winning artwork will be displayed as the poster of the show. All wining artists (Merit Award & Honorable Mention) will receive a digital award certificate. $16 for 2 images of artwork. You may enter more than once. Deadline: February 11, 2021.
