2020 Embracing Our Differences International Art Exhibit Celebrating Diversity

Art is a powerful tool to evoke social change. Without uttering a single word, artists can enlighten, educate and affect change around the world.

Since 2004, Embracing Our Differences has used the power of art and prose to promote diversity. The centerpiece of Embracing Our Differences is an outdoor juried art exhibit featuring 50 billboard size images (12.5 feet by 16 feet) created by local, national and international artists and writers. The display reflects the artists' interpretations of the theme "enriching lives through diversity." The exhibit is displayed annually at Bayfront Park in downtown Sarasota. The 2019 exhibit hosted 218,000 visitors to Bayfront Park, bringing total attendance, since 2004, to more than 2,920,000.

Paradox: Unravelled at the London Wetland Centre

Paradox

2020-2021

Unravelled at the London Wetland Centre

Unravelled are delighted to announce a new partnership between ourselves and the Wildfowl and WetlandsTrust which will see us commissioning and exhibiting new site-specific artwork by up to 10 artists at the London Wetland Centre in Barnes over a year long programme.

Paradox will challenge artists to respond to this unique wetland environment by exploring issues of conflict through conservation, climate change and migration.

Open call for all painters and sculptors

I am very excited to announce that applications are now open for the online gallery.

An art professional is chosen to curate an online exhibition by selecting works from the open call as well as 2-3 works from established artists of their choice. There will be no more than 10 works in total, it is up to the curator how many works to select. This means the online gallery will be carefully considered by the curator.

The online gallery will be posted on my website and the chosen artists will also be posted on my viral Instagram. The curator will come up with a theme based on the works selected.

The guest curator for the first online exhibition will be curator and writer Kristin Korolowicz.
