Design the toilets of Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera in Warsaw

The Tubądzin Design Awards (TDA), organized by the Tubądzin Group since 2015, is a competition for architects, designers, and students from all over the world.

Within the CultureFORM category, Tubądzin, together with competition partner Teatr Wielki - Polish National Opera in Warsaw, opened up an additional special design assignment for architects - 'Design the toilets of the Grand Theatre of the National Opera in Warsaw'.

The challenge is to prepare a concept for the toilets located in the theatre spaces, separately for women's and men's toilets, including those for people with disabilities.

The Trieste Contemporanea International Design Contest 2021 is open until 27th of February 2022!

Set up in 1995, the Trieste Contemporanea International Design Contest is advertised every two years by the Trieste Contemporanea Committee and it is open to designers from the 17 Central Eastern European Countries adehering to the CEI and from the Baltic Countries, Austria, Kosovo, Germany and Turkey.

The 2021 edition, under the auspices of CEI (Central European Initiative), aims to reflect on individual contribution we can make to sustainable development. Basic issues of concern are how to effectively change ourselves and increase our responsibility to others and to our planet. 
Once the participation terms are up, an international jury selects among the most interesting works the winners and a number of projects shown in a conclusive exhibition in Trieste, Italy.

AlUla Design Award

A New Legacy of Design,

Inspired by AlUla

The AlUla Design Award (ADA) recognises exceptional design inspired by the heritage, landscapes, and artistic legacies of AlUla.

The first edition of the AlUla Design Award is an Open Call that invites established and emerging designers to conceptualize and propose exceptional items for two tracks: Premium Retail and VIP Gifting. Submissions will be evaluated by a Jury of recognised leaders from the world of design. Shortlisted design proposals will be commissioned, supported in their production and promoted within AlUla and its network of influential and high profile online and international activities.

Overview

The “Creating Change From the Bottom Up” Project presents an opportunity for selected artists or artist teams to design and create in an innovative, urban style painted mural for The Diaper Bank of Connecticut Volunteer Center located in North Haven, CT. The mural surface is inside a warehouse building occupying a wall space of 40 ft. (W) x 8.5-11 ft. (H).
