Art Handler

We are a multicultural, interdisciplinary Fine Art Gallery specializing in contemporary realism, representational/figurative painting, and sculpture. 
We are immediately seeking a full-time art handler to join our New York galleries. 

Responsibilities:

- Exhibition Installations
- Assist with packing and installation for all domestic and international art fairs
- Perform local deliveries and off-site installations for clients
- Assist with condition checks
- Maintain inventory of tools and packing materials. Coordinate and purchase supplies from outside vendors, while tracking expenses and costs.
- Assist with installation of gallery exhibitions and general gallery maintenance (repairing and painting walls, etc)
- Building custom crates and pedestals as needed
- Frame artwork as needed, repair frames, and handle light art restoration as needed
- Stretch and unstretch canvases, build stretchers as needed 
- Maintain safe and organized art storage 
- Artwork inventory management
- Valid driver’s license required
- Sales experience preferred
