Velem is seeking enthusiastic young artists with an interest in photo retouching who want a chance to hone their abilities with our team.

ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE
Our interns have a unique opportunity to engage with the entire post production process in a genuinely supportive environment. You’ll be learning from and working along side our seasoned retouching and production staff, gaining an insider's understanding of what goes into crafting high-end still life, fashion and beauty images. During the first 2 weeks, we work with our interns to identify personalized S.M.A.R.T. goals and help them work towards those goals during their time with us. Our ultimate hope is that our interns strengthen their skill set and artistic eye, feeling confident for future work in post production and other creative industries. For student applicants, we do indeed offer school credit.

We work with each intern to develop a consistent schedule that meets 2-3 days a week, from 10 AM to 6 PM, for a total of 12 weeks (or the weekly equivalent of 3 months).

ABOUT YOU
While a basic understanding of Photoshop is a requisite, you should know that we aren’t looking for people who can simply show up to the studio and use the blur tool. We are seeking the right fit. Ideally, we’re hoping to find those who are excited to learn and are self-motivated; who express a love photography, art, fashion and design and who have a passion for their own interests. If this sounds like you, we’d love to chat.
