Get Lost with Oren Ambarchi And Crys Cole

CAMP is a residential arts facility in the French Pyrenees. It's a place where great art is made, new movements are formed, new ideas are explored and groundbreaking people are nurtured. CAMP is located in Aulus les Bains, the last village before the France/Spain Pyrenean frontier chain. The location is spectacular - we are nestled at 750m above sea level, surrounded by snowcapped peaks over 3000m high, ancient forests and cascading waterfalls. There are eagles, lammergeiers, vultures, ibex and bears. Walk out of the residency, and within ten minutes you are completely alone in one of the most beautiful mountain landscapes in Europe.

Odds and Ends Experimental Film Festival Call for Submissions

Odds & Ends is an experimental film festival located in Charlottesville, Virginia. The festival will hold its inaugural screening on April 29th, 2023 at the Vinegar Hill Theatre and will be presented by Light House Studio.

We seek films and videos that push formal and conceptual boundaries, allowing for multiple ways of understanding and interpretation. Our aim is to celebrate a diverse range of films that work across modes and genres, addressing the materiality of the medium from poetic, personal, or political perspectives. We welcome everyone, especially innovative works by emerging filmmakers that work outside of commercial structures.

8th nodoCCS Video Festival CALL FOR ENTRIES

Open Call 2022
8th Festival video nodoCCS
Abre 22 Septiembre 2022
Cierra 22 Octubre 2022

Video as art opens portals to other realities and to the experiences of others.

The 8th nodoCCS Video Festival returns to its on-site proposal in the city of Caracas, reaffirming its intention to "sustain and inhabit spaces" to generate encounters in a fragmented world.

The experience of the past years inspired us to go beyond the exhibition space and expand the physical locations of our projections, to generate global dynamics, new ways of collaborating and above all to articulate our work to this new reality.

Altered Images v.III

Altered Images is a project for film and music experimentation. We bring together artists from various disciplines to create original and unique pieces that will be shown at different events. We are focused in New Media Arts, Sound, Performance, Inclusivity, Feminism and Queer Activism.

Our showcase is opened to artists  whose work has an experimental and innovative character.

The goal of the showcase is to create events of live music, projections, performances and art installations where people can enjoy the show in a relaxed, inclusive and friendly environment.

We are looking for brave and risky filmmakers, who like to explore with the sound and the different hints another artist can give to their images.

F**KING IT UP

Left field. Throwing something at the wall.  (Un) Happy accidents.  "F**KING IT UP" is about embracing imperfections. We are seeking works from any genre of art that are somehow accidental, experimental, mishaps, (un)intended, rough cuts, strokes of (non)genius, "oops," multiple attempts, frustrations, "give ups" (unfinished/finished), outtakes, and convey the artistic spirit of "let's try this!".  Work could be funny, folksy, campy, and/or vulgar, but the art should still be commercially appealing.  When applying, please include the story behind the work and why you feel it is "F**KING IT UP" material!

We are also seeking artwork from working artists that is non-typical for their portfolio (i.e. ceramics made by a painter).
