Call for Program Proposals in Key West, FL

The Studios of Key West, the premier arts organization at the Southernmost Point of the United States, is accepting proposals for exhibitions, performances and workshops for their 2024/25 season. The Studios will be starting next season’s programs as early as August, so are encouraging proposals for programs happening late summer & early fall, with high season being Jan-Apr 2025.

bildingship

“bildingship” is a working fellowship for young artists aged up to 31 years, to use bilding as space for their own artistic work as well as actively engaging in the regular workshop programme for the duration of seven months (prolongation to one year is possible), including part-time employment (500€ per month) and accommodation. The aim is to convey the concept and working methods of bilding to the artists, while at the same time, imparting artistic processes directly to the children and adolescents based on the artists on-site work, to establish mutual ties and to promote and expand international discourse in the field of art and cultural mediation with young people, based on the practical experiences gained at bilding.

OPEN CALL: Birmingham Children’s Hospital Outpatients Artwork

This is a paid opportunity for an artist to work with the Enjoy Arts Team and the busy outpatient department at Birmingham Children’s Hospital. This commission is funded by Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity.

The chosen artist will facilitate workshops (schedule to be negotiated) in the outpatient waiting room to co-design a piece with young people, to be installed onto a corridor wall. The outcome will most likely be a high-quality digital file which we can print onto wall vinyl, but we are open to other suggestions such as framed pieces or graffiti/mural style.

Open Call for Artists, COP26 Green Zone Exhibition, WaterAid

We are inviting artists to submit proposals for a visually arresting exhibition to be presented in WaterAid’s exhibition space at COP26 (Glasgow), responding to the theme of ‘The climate change and water story, as told by youth’. We believe it is essential to engage young people on issues relating to the future of their planet and to use our platforms to further amplify their voices.
