SDGs Goal 4 : High Quality

From Kyushu University, let’s show the world the “High-Quality Education” that students worldwide have thought up!

Intending to create an education in which young people, who will be responsible for the future, have hope for the future, value, life, and are peaceful and considerate of each other, we will discuss “High-Quality Education “ in the world and Asia.  We will share the “design” of the ideal education with students from Kyushu University and worldwide.

Theme 1: Let’s Design “High-Quality Educational Experiences!”

~Why not rethink the idea and process of education in our schools?~

In this era of rapid change, what is the role of education that is needed today? What is the goal of education?  What is the best type of education needed by the young people who will be responsible for the future?  How should we collaborate with companies?  How should Asia and the rest of the world collaborate to create better education for the future?

We are looking for design ideas that combine the following four keywords and ‘’ Education’’ from around the world.

‘’Culture’’,  ‘’Art’’,  ‘’Design’’,  ‘’Advanced Technology’’

"Education X Art"

~New educational possibilities created by fusing education and art~

e.g) Creating a Happier Future: An Elementary School Curriculum Specializing in Art

"Education X Design"

~Creating classes, environments, and systems for education utilizing design methods~

~Entry for participating creators is now open!~

1minute Projection Mapping in TOKYO will be held again this year.
This is an international competition planned by Projection Mapping Association of Japan for competing projection mapping works of 1 minute to 1 minute and 59 seconds.
Creators from all over the world are invited to submit their video works.

This year’s competition will mark the 10th anniversary. The theme of this memorable edition is,

『 LIFE / 命・暮らし・人生 』

The development of modern technology has enabled us to overcome many obstacles, increase our life expectancy, and change the way we work and live.
On the other hand, however, the world is still in the grip of sad news as another conflict has erupted this year, in addition to the still-unresolved COVID-19 outbreak.

Our views of life, death, and work style have changed dramatically.

In an era when people’s minds are shaken both mentally and physically, we are looking for works that include messages, visions, and questions about “LIFE” as envisioned by each creator.
