PEER FORUM at Camden Arts Centre

Applications are open for artists to hold Peer Forum at Camden Arts Centre in 2019. Peer Forum, Artquest’s annual Peer Mentoring programme aims to assist artists by providing them with the funding, space and resources necessary to establish their own peer mentoring groups. 

Established in 1965, Camden Arts Centre is a place for world-class contemporary art exhibitions and education. With artists at the core of the programme, Camden Arts Centre strives to involve members of the public in the ideas and processes of today’s artists, and the artists who inspire them. Our year-round programme includes exhibitions, artist residencies, education projects, talks and events, courses and offsite activities.

Call For Entries: The Inner Room

Work by the selected Artist will be exhibited 10/17 through 11/16, 2019. GearBox Gallery will provide a postcard featuring the installation, and will promote the exhibit along with our already scheduled show. A reception for the exhibit will be hosted concurrent with the reception for the featured exhibit that month.

The Artist will be selected from images & a written proposal submitted online, and will be juried by the Gearbox Inner Room Selection Committee. There is no theme. Selection will be based on the quality of the artwork, with special emphasis on how it relates to, enhances, transforms, or makes innovative use of the space.

KLATCH 2.0 Residency

Shift is pleased to support Klatch in their upcoming curatorial residency.

In their time at Shift, Klatch will be developing their own practices alongside developing curatorial skills and building relationships with other artists.

Klatch is extending an invitation to artists working within the Cardiff/South Wales area to take part in a 2 week residency with the collective in SHIFT Cardiff.

This is not an invitation to be part of our collective, just to join us in a residency.

Metro Detroit Artists, Makers and Designers can be part of Noel Night on December 7th, 2019 with the Detroit Center for Design + Technology and Embrace Creatives! It’s a prime location for Noel Night, the VERY popular, holiday shopping experience as the DCDT Gallery is located along Woodward Avenue at Willis and features large windows overlooking the activities. The DCDT can see as many as 1,000 shopping visitors that night!
