Open Call: Fables in Form

Asian Art Contemporary invites submissions for the virtual exhibition Fables in Form, a showcase where contemporary Asian artists explore the interplay between narrative and visual form. The exhibition considers how stories—personal, cultural, or imagined—are shaped not only by their content but also by the way they are expressed through artistic practice. Paintings, drawings, and other works carry traces of memory, gesture, and context, transforming form into a vessel for storytelling.

This collective collection of artistic works is designed to share their stories through images to illustrate the importance of biodiversity conservation and promote harmony between nature and humanity.

Humans, like all living beings, are connected to the diversity of the natural world that surrounds us. Although the majority of the world's population lives in urban centers, far from natural habitats, we are not immune to the impact that our own actions have on nature.

We are now accepting submissions for our Virtual Exhibition ‘VOID’.

Artists from all countries are welcome to submit their works for consideration. You are welcome to submit works in any medium. (painting, photography, printmaking, video art, installation, films, sculpting, mixed media, poems, illustration, etc). The theme of the exhibition is OPEN.

Any artist from any background can submit any of their work. There is no charge to submit your application, please feel free to share your work with us. A small fee (£55) is applied per artist once they have been selected for the exhibition.

Each participation in one of our virtual shows your work will be also showing on a dedicated screen in our London based art gallery maximising exposure in a premium location!

August PleinAir Salon $33,000 Online Art Competition

The PleinAir Salon $33,000 Art Competition is a monthly online competition consisting of 18 categories. We award $33,000 each year for this competition. The Annual Grand Prize winner receives a check for $15,000 and is featured on the cover of PleinAir Magazine. We award an additional $6,500 to the annual winners and we award $1,100 monthly to the top three winners of each competition as well as a People’s Choice Award. Each of the 22 monthly winners will be automatically entered into the Annual Competition. The annual awards are presented live at the Plein Air Convention & Expo.
