The Outlet Dance Project Film Festival Call for Submissions

The Outlet Dance Project is an annual festival of artists sharing their vision through site-specific dance and film at Grounds For Sculpture – an internationally renowned contemporary sculpture park in New Jersey/USA. In its 18th year, the festival champions the work of women and people of marginalized genders. It is one of the largest, most popular, and well-attended dance festivals in New Jersey. The festival celebrates the intersections of visual and moving arts, exploring relationships between sculpture and dance, between place and movement.

Auditions for Ballet Legere's THE NUTCRACKER

Ballet Legere is holding open auditions for its 37th annual production of The Nutcracker. We are seeking student (ages 4 & up) and professional dancers, male and female, as well student tumblers/gymnasts. Pointe and non-pointe roles available for teen/adult dancers. Auditions will be held August 20th and 21st at Legere Dance Centre in River Forest, with callbacks August 27th - September 2nd. Open Call: Schloss Bröllin Residencies 2023

International artist groups from the field of performing arts can apply for a residency at Schloss Bröllin for the production of dance, theatre, circus and performance projects for a maximum of two weeks. Schloss Bröllin offers several dance studios, production and seminar rooms as well as a large outdoor area - for rehearsals and experiments in a quiet and creative atmosphere. As a place created from artists for artists, Schloss Bröllin offers freedom for individual projects, research, experiments, exchange and development – it is in a constant state of change, which invites and encourages residents to participate and collaborate. The residency program is open to artists from all fields of the performing arts. 

Banff Centre | Clifford E. Lee Choreography Award 2022

Overview
The biennial Clifford E. Lee Choreography Award, at Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity, is open to any emerging Canadian dance choreographer or company demonstrating exceptional talent. We are seeking new voices, ideas, and approaches to professional dance that can be supported through the award.

Established in 1978 by the Clifford E. Lee Foundation to encourage the development of Canadian choreographers. Nominees for the Clifford E. Lee Choreography Award will submit a proposal for a work that explores a contemporary approach to dance through any style. The work should be full-length, and travel to Banff with a company of no more than 15, including designers and production team members. 

Dance Artist in Residence 2022 | In Person

Overview
The Dance Artists in Residence program is designed specifically for dance artists to have focused time for the creation and development of new works in Banff Centre studios, with support as desired from a faculty team of professional dance dramaturgs.

This program brings a number of dance artists to the Banff campus at the same time to work on their respective projects, while enjoying opportunities for artistic connection and exchange with peers. The residency is intended for artists working in the initial creation phase of a new work, which they will develop over the course of one or two weeks in residence.

STUDIO2 Autumn Residency

From 23 October to 5 November 2022, STUDIO2 of the International Theatre Institute (ITI) will once again be hosting an artistic research residency on its premises. The residency is aimed at individual artists or collective groups of up to 5 artists from the field of dance, performing arts, and performance (also interdisciplinary). It will enable open-artistic research on a self-selected theme.
