The Pastel Society Call For Entries

Artists are invited to submit work for exhibition alongside members of The Pastel Society at their 123rd Annual Exhibition 2022. The Pastel Society seeks the best in contemporary dry media, combining traditional skills with creative originality for their annual exhibition. The Society accepts pastels, oil pastels, charcoal, pencil, conté, sanguine, or any dry media.

All work must be submitted online by Friday 3 December 2021, 12 noon. Pre-selection from online entries will take place, after which pre-selected works should be delivered to Mall Galleries, London, for final selection.

Throughlines

The Indianapolis Art Center announces a Call for Entry to Throughlines. Throughlines is a juried exhibition featuring contemporary drawing – contemporary takes on a traditional technique. This exhibition will highlight the world of drawing today and the richness found in the wide variety of techniques, styles, and aesthetics involved. The Art Center is calling for entries from artists 18 or older working in any drawing related media in the United States. Work made with any drawing technique or work that utilizes drawing as a critical component are eligible.

“Fantasy” Digital Art Contest

Draw, have fun and win prizes in Pixarra’s new illustration contest!

Pixarra is announcing a call for artists for a new digital art contest under the theme of “Fantasy Art”. Submission is free of charge and is not limited in the number of entries. 2D and 3D artists from around the world are invited to show their art.

All submissions must be digital paintings created with illustration software and the participants must have the full copyrights on them. Traditional art, photos, photo manipulations, collages and animation are not accepted.

Participants can submit their entries at www.pixarra.com/competition between May 25 and June 21, 2021.

Flower Power

The Art Guild invites all artists, high school and older, to submit artworks for consideration for “FLOWER POWER”, a Juried Competition and Exhibition.   

Flowers are more than beautiful.  Their symbolic language has been recognized by many cultures since the beginning of time. They bring joy to our happiest celebrations and provided comfort on the saddest days. 

Georgia O’ Keefe said ”If you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for a moment.” Show us the power of your flowers!

'En Plein Air' Art Competition

Stop by the Art & Earth Day Welcome Tent the day of the festival to register!

*Contestants must bring their own supplies.

 

Juried by local artist and educator Daniel Bonham, this free competition is split up into two groups: 17 and under, and 18+. Participants will create 'en plein air' drawings or paintings that will be juried at the Grand Pavilion at 2PM.

Winners from both groups will be announced at 3PM on the day of the festival. First and second-place winners from both groups will receive prizes.
