Call for Entry: Stillness, A Still Life

We are delighted to share that Lyme Art Association, our historic arts organization dedicated to fostering the visual arts in Old Lyme, Connecticut, is transitioning to a digital submission process for all juried exhibitions. Founded in 1914 by members of the Old Lyme Art Colony, the Lyme Art Association remains committed to supporting and showcasing artists through our robust annual exhibition schedule.

Starting with our 2025 season, all artwork entries will now be submitted digitally, enhancing accessibility for artists and providing a more efficient process for both our organization and participants. Fiber Arts have a long tradition not only of utility but of storytelling and personal expression. This exhibit celebrates the hard work and creativity of fiber artists, from quilting and embroidery to textiles, weaving, or mixed media collage. This call is open to all artists, age 18 or older, living within the United States. Artists are invited to enter innovative art created from natural fibers as well as plant and animal fibers. The majority of the art piece must be fiber component or textile technique. We look forward to showcasing a wide range of contemporary and innovative wall hung works where fiber is the primary medium.
