New Voices 2023

New Voices is a pilot program providing approximately six to eight emerging artists with a focused group exhibition at Print Center New York’s new, ground-floor space at 535 West 24th Street in Chelsea in the summer of 2023. This exhibition will provide a compelling critical exploration of the artists’ work, and will be accompanied by a publication and artist-led public programming expanding on the season’s themes.

2019 National Small Works Competition & Exhibition

Washington Printmakers Gallery seeks small works for an exhibit in Washington DC.
Grand Prize is a 2020 Solo Exhibition in the fashionable Georgetown neighborhood. Other prizes include a $500 cash prize and art materials gift certificates. Juror is respected curator JD Talasek, the director of Cultural Programs of the National Academy of Sciences.

Eligible works: Hand-pulled prints, screen prints, digital prints, photographs, and three-dimensional work (including artist books) with print components completed within the past two years. Image may be no larger than 100 square inches, with framed size of 256 square inches or less. 3D works are limited to 250 cubic inches. Open to artists 18 years and older.

Royal Society of Marine Artists

The RSMA seeks submissions of art inspired by the sea and marine environment

Artists are invited to submit works for exhibition alongside members of the Royal Society of Marine Artists (RSMA) at their Annual Exhibition 2019.

Any artist over 18 may submit.

Subject matter must be essentially marine in nature, relating in some way to tidal waters of the world; topographical, historical, still life, and figure painting are all welcomed. Works relating to non-tidal rivers, inland lakes and waterways etc are not permissible. 

Acceptable media: Oil, acrylic, watercolour, original prints of any media, mixed media, drawings, pastels, or sculpture.
