OPEN CALL FOR FILMS: 9th Student International Film Festival

STIFF – Student International Film Festival is now calling on all student and debutant filmmakers to submit their films for the 9th festival edition which will take place from 24th to 27th of November 2022 in Rijeka, Croatia.

Works entering the competition program must be original, student-created films or debutant films of all genres: fiction, documentary, animation, and experimental films. All the works need to be up to 60 min in length and completed after the 1st of January 2020. 

The films must be in English or with English subtitles and must be submitted via FilmFreeway platform. The deadline for registration and delivery of materials is May 30th, 2022.

The historical period in which we live is inevitably leading us to ask ourselves again who we are and where we put ourselves in the world. In addition to asking ourselves who we are today, we must also ask ourselves what our relationship is with others and how to include them in our lives.

At its first edition, Terre da Film Festival focuses on the theme of the IDENTITY.

Identity as choice.
Identity as a mirror.
Identity as a departure or a new point of arrival.
Identity of a place or a dear event.
Identity as a condition of perpetual searching.

Call for Entries: Vinilonga Showcase

We are a new underground film festival with an open call for audiovisual artists working on experimental, sensory, animated, dance short films and music videos. We are looking forward to create a bi-monthly film festival online based on different themes, which can also be a platform with interviews to artists, reviews of their work and more. We specially encourage Female, LGBTIQ+, Senior, young, disabled, and other underrepresented creators to submite their art.

We will also organise live screenings offline in cultural centres in Buenos Aires and other venues.
