Babbasawt Sound Lab 2025

This residency offers a fully funded opportunity for musicians, sound artists, and multidisciplinary artists working with sound, currently residing in Europe.

The application is due October 13th, 2024.
The residency takes place from January 6th - February 7th, 2025, in Tunis, Tunisia.

This Babbasawt Sound Lab is a one month long residency based around pairing five musicians / sound artists from a Creative Europe country with five Tunisian musicians / sound artists. The selected artists will work together on new collaborative works, while also participating in mentor led workshops on instrument building and experimental music/sound techniques.

Video Sound Archive - Season 3 - Open Call

Video Sound Archive Season 3: a working archive dedicated to video and sound works that reconsiders the current restructures and parameters.

Please read over our FAQ before submitting. We appreciate your time and look forward to getting to know your work.

 

FAQ:

– Works should have a running time of 10 minutes or less.

– Submitted works must include both your original video and sound in the same piece. If you are not the sole creator of the video and/or sound, please include any collaborators.

-Works should be linked to either your website, vimeo or your preferred video platform. We will not be able to download any files.

Theme1 SKY IN THE MIRROR

The idea is simple, please use the mirror to capture the view of the sky in your location.

Theme 2 ANYTHING RED

ANYTHING RED, please use the mirror to present anything red. It could be a rose, or an old red telephone box on the street.  

We are looking for a moment that you documented in your daily life, the mood you had when you took the picture.
